Did you always get an orange in your x-mas stockings too?

YUP, LOL. Always got em as a kid, and NEVER ate em. Normally, for some reason..they were already mush by the morning.

chocolate m&m tubes ...yup, check. lol.

HAHA I always thought it was just me... At my dads house my step-mom always puts some oranges in.. I never understood why but I like them so never bitched.

Our stockings usually had an orange, apple, & bananna (& sometimes kumquats), some Hershy minatures, hard cardy, nuts and usually one or 2 of our smaller gifts as a surprise. They were too big and heavy to hang in front of the fireplace, so they were stood up around the hearth.

Rarely got around to eating the fruit before it went bad but it was always nice sticking my nose in the stocking on Christmas morning and taking several deep breaths

Makes one appreciate things when you think some kids around the world would have been in heaven getting just what we let go to waste in our stockings.
