    Where is 12clicks when you need him?

    I wanted someone who is so much smarter than me to explain to me all the fuckups in Iraq that are happening right now. For those of you that don't know, here's part of what happened today.

                                  I don't think it's inconceivable that Al Quaeda or an Al Quaeda sponsored government would have been in command of Iraq's billions of oil $s.

                                          Nah man things would be much more stable under Saddam and that's just a fact. It sucks but it's true and I'm happy to see the guy gone, In fact I hope we can get rid of more like him throughout the world but that's not the plan of this administration.

                                          We can't leave now, we need to get in deeper with more troops and we're already leaning the other way. Just wait the real fun starts when we hand over the government. No matter how friendly we think they're going to be to us, you watch and see it won't happen and we're going to have to use force on them. It's just all around fucked up unfortunately but we can't run for it, we have to get in deeper even though I don't think we should have been there to start.

                                                  I agree with you. I'm talking about 3 or 4 years down the road when Saddam kicks off. Saddam's sons would never have been able to control the Iraq army, even Saddam knew that they were weak.

                                                  It would be army division vs army division, sunnis vs kurds vs whoever, al quaeda vs Saddamites. Turkey would definitely try to take some land, probably Iran too. God forbid that any outside country or the UN try to get in the middle of things at that point.

                                                                      But since i'm such a nice guy, I'll try and summarize it.

                                                                      Lets say there's this bully.

                                                                      You're a hanger-on to bully, cause you get away shit with him that you normally wouldn't.

                                                                      Suddenly, your bully moves to a new school leaving you the wannabe bully without a leader.

                                                                      A new bully moves into town.

                                                                      Things change where you cannot get away with the shit you used to.

                                                                      The people you once bullied are now on an even level with you and this has your panties in a bunch.

                                                                      Out of desperation and fear you plot and scheme do all sorts of silly things to make the new bully look bad in hopes that someday your bully will return.


                                                                      - or in even simpler terms -


                                                                      the king of the mountain gets knocked down a few pegs, and is trying desperately to get back on top.

Your family member as well as the other soldiers over there right now, KNEW that they could be called to risk their lives to defend the country or the world when needed. Wether you feel the war was necessary or not, if your relative didn't know what was expected of them then they are the moron, if they did know then you are making it worse by not supporting their decision to join the military.

                                                                                                                                          We had this conversation before, I served, I have family their and I knew what could have been exepcted of me and so do my relatives. If they die, they know they died for their country, you volunteer for the service, people don't get drafted. It was your family members decision and instead of bitching about it why don't you support your country, your president and your family member to get them home.

                                                                                                                                                          My cousin was given the choice to "join the military or do jail time" I have discussed this before and I have no need to defend my position to you. He was 19 and was involved with some other bad boys who commited a crime, all he did was DRIVE, so the judge handed him an option, military or jail.

                                                                                                                                                          My relatives are more than ready to give their blood for THIS COUNTRY.
