Honestly I'm suprised Bush hasn't used Powell as the fall guy for Iraq... maybe that's what's going on now.. Would be sad to see and I think Collen Powell is a better man than GB..

So they're blaming Chalabi, a thief who's ass they saved and put him in charge of Iraq.

They help and support a criminal and they wonder why the hell he'd lie to them? I'm sure between going back to prison and being a leader in Iraq he'd have gladly chosen the former. I mean he just had no reason to lie

Now either the Bush admin is really, really dumb or quite evil.

in the kay report it was reported that saddam thought he had weapons, as did his higher ups but it turns out that a lot of the scientists were lying about the progress of the programs and taking his money

bs, they probably relied on the intelligence provided to them by Chalabi. Do you really think a dictator who's very suspicious of everyone is gonna give away money without seeing at least a demonstration of the results reached?
