Vrije Universiteit is not the same as UVA (University of Amsterdam). It is (from what I know) a University where more of the Adults go, say adult education.

It is not worse than the main Uni., just different.

Where are you from? The dutch education standards are slipping but are still relatively high. There's not an enormous difference between dutch universities like there is in UK or america.

It's decent, pretty much all the universities have the same level of education so it doesn't really matter which one you pick

I'm from Poland. It's not like we don't have good universities here but studying abroad could be more interesting. Plus Amsterdam is Amsterdam

here instead of to the other University.

Vrije Universiteit is nothing like a normal university. Ppl go there if you wanna study at your own pace or when youre not at student age anymore.

Say a guys 50 and he wants to get his masters in physics, then thats where hes going.

I didnt even know you could get accepted there as a foreign exchange student. Id double check cause I think your mistaking regular unis for this one.

They have English taught programs for foreigners. I'm 100% sure I got accepted to Vrije University. However, I don't want to study with adults... I'm only 23 - I want young chicks around me
