We are proud to announce that after years of developing what we believe to be the best Webcam Chat Community for Adults available, we have today reached 3 million members worldwide. This coincides with the celebration of the 6th Birthday for the site. Whilst this number may not compete with a number of social networking sites available, we consider ourselves so much more than just social networking and are extremely happy with the steady expansion of the community. The growth of ANYwebcam.com has come from the hard work and dedication of our team, along with the support of our loyal member base.
No one can deny that 3million people is a lot of people. Here are some samples from Google for comparison sake:
--- If ANYwebcam.com were to become the 53rd State of USA it would be the 29th most populated state, and if it were to become a USA principle city it would be the 3rd largest behind NewYork and Los Angeles.
--- 3 million people would fill Yankee Stadium 60 times over.
--- If 3 million people were to hold hands they could span 4950km (3075miles), or from LA to NY and half way back again.
Since the conception of ANYwebcam.com these 3 million members have helped produce:
--- over 18,000,000 hours of live webcam broadcasts.
--- over 260,000 new message board threads.
--- over 20,000 adult amateur photo competition gallery entrances.
We now look to the future and a continued growth well into the future, by providing the best in "many to many" webcam solutions, surrounded by a multitude of additional custom community tools. Version five will see the introduction of much better cam quality and speed (streaming webcams), member communication tools ... the whole enchilada, really.
In celebration of this accomplishment, as well as the 6th Birthday, there will be several member hosted parties worldwide (London, Germany, New York, Los Angeles, Canada, just to name a few). Here in Melbourne, Australia, headquarters for ANYwebcam.com, there will be a huge birthday bash in late August.
Sooo... thank you to ALL of you that have helped along the way. You have managed to help us build something pretty damn cool. To our small but awesome team of affiliates, thank you for jumping on board... and to those of you that are looking to jump in with a rapidly expanding business here's a little something to think about. Although we have had an affiliate program in place for about 12 months, Affiliate traffic still only accounts for less than 6% of our traffic, with the majority of new joins coming from word of mouth member referrals and internal marketing strategies. We see these figures as a compliment to the product we are providing, however would still like you to come get your piece of the unsaturated pie. We look forward to helping anyone introduce others to the site - be it 1 join a month or 100 a day, let us know what we can do.
