I dunno... they did a story on the rising cost of silver on the news the other day... that usually means it's too late to invest, so it's ok for them to talk about it now. heh

Odd, because the biggest use of silver is in
film development which is in decline.

Does Buffett still hold a crazy amount of the worlds silver, is he buying again, or will he now start to offload his at this price?

Holy shit, $8.47!!! 6% growth in last 24 hrs.

Silver is moving almost totally independent of gold at this point.

If the price of gold were not being artificially depressed to keep people on Wall Street, I believe you would see gold rising at a similar rate.

Silver is used in heaps of industrial processes (electronics, jewellery, photography, chemistry, medical drugs and weapons manufacturing).

Silver use has been increasing, but stockpiles have been descreasing for sometimes (the silver price has been artificailly kept low by governments selling stockpiles)..

Also keep in mind a lot of silver mining operations have been shutdown also because of the perpetually low price.

Thank you for pointing that out.

Silver is just too risky right now. There's too much of it.
