What the laws ACTUALLY mean is this

Lets say in Mississippi the age is 14 to have sex.

BUT it's within 7 YEARS of the girl

ie: you are 20 and she is 14. That is WITHIN 7 years BUT

they have other laws called Statutory rape which means that ANYONE, meaning ANYONE over the age of 18 that has sex with a MINOR (anyone under 18 years of age) is guilty of the crime.

WHy the age variances?

Simple, alot of teens DO get emancipated, it means they are their own legal guardian.

You take a 16 year old who works, has great grades, fights with her parents 24/7 she petitions the court to get emancipated, she can prive she can make it on her own, she is emancipated.

It is legal for her to have sex with someone within 7 years (or whatever state you rin)

In PA if its under 18 you WILL do jail time, I dont care who you are.

We had a high school teacher that got arrested for exactly what your thinking. He had sex with a girl, she WAS 17 at the time, but he was in his 40s and it didnt matter that she was 18 in 3 months.

Bang he got 36-72 months.

If you EVEN have to ask about having sex with a 16 year old then this board is NOT for you.

You are 23 she is 16. You are 8 YEARS , not 7.

16, 17 , 18, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23

It doesnt go

shes 16 so we start counting at 17.
