I don't know what cities you visit when you come here, but I've never seen that. I think you need to check your facts before you start making false claims like that. To legally obtain a gun you have to wait at least 3 days for a background check, get fingerprinted, file a bunch of paperwork, make several trips back and forth from the police station to the gun store, and even the slightest blemish on your record will keep you from owning a gun.Originally posted by Battuss

I enjoy my weapons for recreation shooting.
I shoot pistols, and shotguns competitively.
I also hunt with my guns.
I avidly hunt quail, deer, dove, duck, pheasant, elk and javelina (wild piglike animals).
We eat everything we hunt and my family has a long tradition of hunting and cooking wild game. Its a traditional part of my heritage that I am very proud of... its part of who I am who we are...and I have shared this tradition, activity and right with my boys who are now young men and they too hold the high value as I do of the game and the land which/where we hunt.
We dont kill anything we dont eat. We were taught "rules" of this sport and we respect them partly because we dont want to lose our right and because our set of morals we live by will not allow us to...
Battuss, I say again, you have your right to your opinion...
I too have my rights... and those rights include the right to keep and bare arms... and that my friend is a right I will fight for.
I plan on owning my guns until I pass, and my guns are one of the first things distributed in my living trust.
