Any interesting stories?
Personally, I had been playing with free MGP sites for years. Was fortunate enough to meet Jason from VidsVidsVids, Hank from Hanks Galleries, Markus from FuckingFree and Mecix from X2S.
I struggled on with free sites for another year or so .. Made a little money, but nothing substantial. I was still employed full time as project manager for a forestry company .. And I hated it.
Finally, when I was 29 years old a very good friend of mine got a job in Costa Rica. I decided that after working full time for 12 years (few different jobs) that I was just going to quit and go at it myself. So I moved to Costa Rica, with a few other friends .. and about $5000 to my name.
Things didn't go as planned in Costa. My friend lost his job, and eventually moved back to Canada. We were left with rent and all sorts of bills, and no income. Something HAD to be done.
Myself and two buddies who remained went hard at trying to learn how to make galleries. Three of us, sharind a very poor dial up connection.
I remember when I started making 1 sale per day. I was so happy. We were sitting around in the pool one day, in Costa, saying "Man imagine making 4 sales everyday. We'd be rich". Funny to think about now.
Anyway, that's how I got here full time. Let's hear your stories.
