Most of these attacks are not done by ordinary Iraqis. They are the work of "foreigners" as the CIA calls them, which is another word for Arabs coming to Iraq to do just that - mainly from Iran and Syria.
My view is, both Syria and Iran are behind it all, because they are the two countries most afraid this war will work fine. In their view it will encouragethe Americans to come after them. If they make sure America is losing this war - Bush will have no political ability to broaden the conflict to include them.
And in all this while, and unlike Iraq - both Syria AND Iran are building REAL arsenals of WMD and don't even bother to hide it much.
Maybe after the next attack in the US (question of when - not if) Bush will have the political backing to destroy the middle-east. Well, either that or the US needs to hire Sharon to do the job for them. At least the Israelis are fighting back. Amazes me that the US isn't proactively (like the Israelis) going after all the terrorists. I don't think it will solve 100% of the problem but at least it's just: you kill - you will get killed.
