Are you willing to go to Iraq and live under occupation? Why do you think they fight the occupation? Nobody likes being occupied. The whole world is not better off, especially not the middle-east.

Hey, how about this? The US invades your country, change the Canadian laws that you don't like and keep the laws that you like. Won't you be better off? You shouldn't have a problem with that, should you?

            1) See point 2.

            2) With all due respect ... What source would you accept as being credible? Certainly no large media will do, CNN, FOX et all are clearly just lying to everyone.

How about a letter from an Iraqi to the United Nations by Ahmad Chalabi, HEAD OF THE IRAQI DELEGATION

            Mr. President:

I stand before this Assembly as a representative of free Iraq. To all those here who helped us in our struggle for liberation we extend our gratitude. Our liberation would not have been achieved without the determination of President, George W. Bush and the commitment of the Coalition, at the forefront of which stand the people of the United States of America and Great Britain. The Iraqis will never forget your courage and sacrifice on our behalf.

"To those who stood with the dictator and who continue to question the intentions of the American and British governments in undertaking this liberation, we invite you to come and visit the mass graves where half a million of our citizens lie, come and visit the dried up marshes, come and visit Halabja where chemicals were dropped on civilians, come and examine the lists of the disappeared whose right to live was taken away from them by Saddam Hussein. And we the Iraqi people will ask you why you chose to remain silent."

            United Nations

Surely an Iraqi knows more about Iraq that we do. I suppose he's part of the world wide , George Bush lead, republican conspiracy machine.

I just don't see how anybody can make a claim that the PEOPLE or Iraq, are not better off now, than they were under Saddam Hussein. To be fair, we need to give the Iraqi people 23 years to outperform Saddam. The thing is, we won't need to. It may take 2 years, or 5 years, or even 10 years.... But most propably LESS people will die... And Iraq will have a chance to be a prosperous nation.

Who care's why the US did it .. Or if they were right or if they were wrong? Either way, Iraq is better off.
Sure let's give them 23 years, I'll give them all the time you want me to give them. Fact is, Iraq will still be struggling with peace and violence. We teached them how to be irresponsible and rely on someone else, so let's not be surprised by how badly they'll manage there country.

I don't think you're really thinking long term here.

Up to 50 women accused of being prostitutes and men accused of procurement have
reportedly been publicly beheaded. The executions were part of a campaign to
stamp out prostitution and ''immoral crimes''.

They tried to raise up against Saddam .. The US, unfortunetly that time, did not back them as promised. So Saddam gassed those who rose up against him.

Saddam was a tyrannical, sadistic dictator who murdered and tortured millions. The entire country was living in fear of him. And only 60% think they are better off now? How fucked up must it be in Iraq?

So those people were happy with the way their country was run ??

I've since changed my mind about them though. I say fucking leave them to themselves. Not fucking worth it...
Guess what? I'm not happy with the way my country is run, yet you don't see me asking for some country to invade me and you can be sure as hell that I will never ask for such a thing no matter how bad my country is run.

I'm saying that some other countries are asking for help and really need it yet they don't see that help coming. I'm saying that genocides are being committed as we speak and nothing is being done even though Bush said and repeated time and time again that there's no place for tyrants. I'm suggesting that he does as he says instead of using double standards.

                                                Mr.

Do you even know who Ahmad Chalabi is???? Do you know that he is wanted all over arab-world as a criminal????

50% of violance in Iraq towards USA troops must be because they made HIM head of the delegation

Your goverment probably doesn't openly murder it's people, does it?

If, when you didn't agree with your goverment, it killed your people .. Would you feel the same?

Of course not. You can't compare the minor political problems of a civilized nation to the brutal reign of a tyranical dictator. Surely you must see the difference.

I'm guessing you haven't anyone in your family who is over there at the moment. Because if you actually stopped to think for second, you would maybe see how fucked up it is, when you do have someone over there, and it could be them who's death is being cheered.

Get a fucking grip. We know some Iraqis are for it, some aren't. We don't need your stupid ass pics to see that...
Agreed I don't like any of the pics. Sorry for your family. My relatives in Iraq got the hell outta there once Iraq was liberated and they started receiving death threats from religious fundamentalists simply for being Christian. Hate towards Christians seems to be spreading all around the ME.

I was actually poking fun at France. If the US wasn't in the business of saving people from brutal regimes, the French would be speaking German.

Even the Polish fought the Germans, on horse back in some cases ... The french surrendered. Boo

The French had no option but to surrender, they were outgunned and out manouvered by germany's military superiorority!!

But you've not only the US to thank for liberating France, you've the british, canadians, australians etc etc!! Even the french resisitence played their part!!

There's no doubt the US played a major part in the war effort, but there's a lot of other countries who did their bit too!!
