It does that from time to time. Just reload the page. VB can be unstable sometimes--happens at JBM as well but takes the form of weird spacing when the forum index loads up.

vBulletin is like most PHP scripts, once you start pushing a lot of pageviews you have to spend a lot of time optimizing Apache and MySQL to get the site to keep serving those pages reliably. (or just buy a faster box/more boxes).

GFY seems to handle it pretty well most of the time though..
