Teen Girl Arrested For Making Child Porn

This is a bizarre case, but the action evidently being taken by the courts is even more bizarre. As has been mentioned, where are the parents in this case? If this girl had been soliciting the attention of a man over 18, and he'd bitten (assuming he knew her age), few would be blaming the 15 year old.

She may be sexually mature, but obviously she hasn't the sense to make mature decisions. Prosecute her and label her a sex offender for publishing pictures of herself? That's absurd, in my opinion.

Mom and Dad need to be slapped with a negligence charge, there needs to be some serious family counseling, and then this poor, misguided little twit needs to be left alone...until she's 18, at which point I'm sure there will be a feeding frenzy to recruit her.

It will be an interesting case, as the results mat affect the adult business.

Question is then; If any 15 year looks in the mirror at herself, could she be charged with CP? I think that the transfer was the crime. Otherwise, they would need to close their eyes when they looked down.

Most 15 year olds are sexually active, and have been for thousand of years.

At some point in time, some politicans decided your 18th birthday was magic; transforming you from a child into an adult. (stupidly simplistic and nature doesn't work that way) But the idea was spread successfully and now that invention is treated as gospel.

This case isn't about child porn. There was no abuse. And there was no child. It's just another instance of the government trying to enforce their definition of morality.

Child porn isn't wrong because pictures of nude children are wrong. It's wrong because adults would force sexuality on children before they were ready by making them pose in sexually suggestive ways or engaging in sexual contact with them. The pictures were the evidence of the crime, not the crime itself.

How about the definition of a crime be that there has to be an obvious victim and an obvious villain? That would solve the majority of problematic legal nonsense in this country.
