I am talking a real game show, like the ones on TV, not one at the mall or one put on by the Rotary Club that was televised on Local Access. One on like GSN, CBS, etc.
Have you or anyone you know ever been on a gameshow

I was on the weakest link
i was voted most liekly to win by all the contestants on that episode
but to get on the show you have to sit thru 3 hours of quizzes.
The producers KNOW what subjects you are weak in and they use it against you - they have decided who will win before the show begins. (and it's always the middle aged doctor)
I was pretty proud to get thru to the show coz on testing day i was the only person under 40 to get thru.
all the questions were about shit that happened pre 1920.
The person who got the most questions right , needless to say was the oldest, he was 80 - but they never put him on the show coz he couldnt stand for the 6 hours it takes to film one episode.
Im still trying to get on millionaire coz i think i got a pretty good chanceComment

I also did some TV commercials and thank GOD they do go away!
I did one and they made me look llike the biggest fool on earth.
They put stupid makeup on me and stupid tight underwear and it was the dumbest script in Hollywood.
I made about $1800 from it and I'd give every penny of it back if they could prove to me that every single copy of it had been burned.
FUCK HOLLYWOOD!
Don't ever go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!Good luck.

I "know" the all-time biggest winner on The Price is Right (at least, she still held that title a little over a decade ago)...she was in my parents' Bible study group in the late 70's. (Don't blame me, I was a young 'un.)
She actually appeared on the show while she and my parents were friends, so that was very cool - especially since, as a child, I was a huge PiR fan (shut up, it was a long-ass time ago). She won basically every prize and bonus available to her, plus both showcases. (Is that what that were called? If I am remembering that correctly, I'm very afraid.)
So, many years later (1990?) I was waiting tables at a fairly nice restaurant, and one of my co-workers excitedly told me that he was waiting on a group of all-time top whatevers, and among them was the top ever winner on PiR. I was so excited to see my childhood "friend".
She totally blew me off. Refused to even acknowlege that we'd ever been acquainted. Geez, bitch, it's not like you're Richard Fucking Hatch.
Wow, way TMI, but I've wanted to talk about that for a long time...and nobody's ever asked.

I was on the Gordon Elliot Show in 1995.
My girlfriend and I just wanted a free trip to new york.
We had alot of fun. We are actually the "First female/female tongue kiss" ever to be aired on national televison (in the US).
The only other f/f kiss before that was on the sitcom Roseanne, and since that was scripted they don't consider it 'reality kiss'.Comment
