Here's some advice from an SEO who knows what he's talking about:
Write a letter to Google and Yahoo! and ask them to put your site on the number one spot for the keywords you list. They are very helpful and always answer each one of their email requests in person. Hell, how do you think I got all of my rankings, by actually working on them?? Fuck no! It's the BEST kept secret in the SEO industry!

And it wouldn't bug me if I thought that whoever selected the best threads for this day actually understood that this was a joke thread of no value to the community (other than entertainment).
But selecting this thread as "Best Post" sort of defeats the purpose of what Lensman had in mind with the daily posting contests (I think) -- I was under the impression that he created the daily contest to get people to make quality posts on topics that will be of benefit to others.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy all the daily BS and drama on GFY
...
but it has to be salted ocassionally with timely information and valueable tips to keep some of the people who are about business to come back day after day.Comment
