If you put a odd sig on (missleading) OR you have your own program, you get really good clicks . I was driving over 100 hits a day on barbuzz only from gfy

SigMonkey is a very cool script indeed. One of my webmaster friends hooked me up with something similar a while back, and I'm still using the one he gave me so far. The visible stats & IP look good though.

I've only had Sigmonkey up for 4-5 days, so my Views per day should be around 5K-6K.

The views per day is just views divided on 30. The best way would of course be to store the count of each day seperatively and then average it out, but I didn't have this list in mind when I made the hosted SigMonkey. Maybe I'll rewrite it when I find some time.

I agree I think people are clicking their own sigs over and over...so it looks like it will convert better :-x

Hey, that's me (Weigan).

There's nothing fishy about it, because many threads I have participated in were about the services I advertise in my sig (DomainSpy and SigMonkey). They are also services noone have been exposed to before.

Sig monkey was built on his sig so I don't doubt that he got a lot of hits from gfy .

Didn't seem to work right for me, somehow it got reset and my views dropped from 40k+ to 7k so I just took it out.

As he said, the views are divided by 30 to give the daily views, providing for inaccurate stats.

I've only had Sigmonkey in my sig for 4-5 days, so technically, I should have 5000+ views per day. Instead, it shows only close to 900.

Yes, the crontab went crazy and ran over and over... Wiped out the database. This shouldn't happen again.

Missed that :/ but I loved the Sigmonkey sig images.. those were great. My suggestion was to add the average per-day views instead of totals.
