    I have a suggestion for you people that

    ...support our troops in spirit. I suggest that you try to find someone in your community that has a husband or wife in the military and contribute something to help them out at Christmas time this year. A present for the kids...if any...or a few bucks to do with as they choose. Military familes are far from being wealthy and even a few bucks for them would help them out. In other words help support them in a material way...not just in spirit.

    I have more than twenty active duty friends and I for one am contributing cash to each one of them as a Christmas gift.

              Well...you could try the American Legion and VFW...Recruiting Offices...or the office of your local paper and see what information they have. There are orgs for the benefit of servicemen...you can contribute to if you cannot locate someone locally...but I think it would be better to give to someone locally...as it is more of a personal touch.
