Congrats Lars, you continue to expand and innovate. I'm too lazy to read your faq, just to clarify, in order to get the $25 does the surfer just need to make at least one min of private chat or do they have to do at least $25 in private chat time? I like your layout, volume and variety of models, but I just don't think I can generate as much $ with your pps program as I do with the free cc verify programs such as HSN, Weg, etc... I do 100+ signups weekly with them with average ratios of 1:45. Well I'll give your pps program a try and see how it works out. Nice to see what you've done with sweetcams.com I sold you, wish I'd put something together like that. Is that just a front end for your program or something different in the works? The webmaster link on the page doesn't seem to be working."WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..

I think unfortunatley that is where it is all going.. same stuff as teh paysite game. Since he who pays the most money gets the most traffic. So if you offer cross sales you make more money thus you can pay out more. Forcing all competition to also go to that same level or face declining traffic.Originally posted by lazycash

I agree that a sponsor certainly has the right to do anything to increase their margins and maintain their payouts. However, I've done testing on hundreds of thousands of hits to cam programs and my conversion ratios on average are 30-40% worse when a prechecked cross sale is on the join page. Add to that the increased chargeback % that comes with prechecked cross sales. They may work when you're doing a $40 sale, but not when the surfer is only expecting a free or $1 verify.Originally posted by LegendaryLars

Also, you want to attract high volume webmasters who know they can convert with your program, if program B around the corner doesn't have cross sales on their join page you can bet they will send their traffic there first. I'd prefer a $20 payout with no cross sales and convert at 1:60 vs a $25 payout converting at 1:150. Wegcash did extensive testing of cross sales the first month of their free join cam program. Their CEO came on their board and said that cross sales were of no benefit to them and they were removing them permanently from their cam join pages. make no mistake, we have some irons in the fire with new projects, but streamray is now paying $25 dollars per join on our camsites, with no cross sales.

Sounds great, I'll wait and see what you guys got cookin. I realize you are paying $25 per join, but your model is different than the model I've been promoting and had much success with.($25+ for a cc verify vs $25 for buying private time) I realize with your model I can quickly get my surfers into chatting and viewing your free cams with the thought of getting them horny enough to purchase private time or I can do what I'm doing now and hope to get them curious enough on a tour to verify their cc just to get access to free teaser cams. Certainly your model bodes well for the future as Visa/MC put more and more pressure on the free cc verify(some have already moved it to $1).
