Guccione just got old - he was a micro manager especially when it came to the photo content - wouldn't let that go and it showed. Hefner the same really but at least he gave his daughter who was fairly young control. Guccione needed to find some young blood to keep up with the times but he didn't.
No more gold chains at Penthouse, these two new owners are young tech and biz geeks in their 30's - never had anything to do with adult before this.
Do you know what Windows Media Player was called before it became WMP? Netshow. Marc Bell's company developed it. He knows how to make money and turn around companies in distress. Turning around Penthouse is a major challenge, have no clue if it can be done but these guys are gonnna give it a real shot and spend the money to do it. Very confident guy.
