If they only process $450 million a year, presumably not all of which is adult related and they're the largest processor (I think) then that makes the industry smaller than has been hypothesized in the past. Bleh...who cares, it just came to me as I was reading this.
I hope the new owner eat them up and spit out a company that's responsive to it's clients...yeah riiiiiiight.
Fuck 'em. Hope they all got nice fat stipends for selling the place. I guess it's too late to call InterCept and tell them they just bought a piece of dung?

There are a few big players that use their own merchant accounts so they save a ton of money.
I also don't think ibill is the biggest, maybe in size but not in dollars processed a month.
Originally posted by Kimmykim Privately held companies don't disclose how much they process a year, so I don't know that 450 mil would be tops...
Yep, which is why I said (I think) in my comments. As far as I know, they're the largest but that may not be true and I'm guessing from your comments that it isn't.
A rumor passed by me that iBill is either working on new processor or working with a new processor. This new processor being based in Europe. Heard it from a couple people actually.
Originally posted by Kimmykim I don't know who is biggest either. We're happy with our current business, we're also always looking to do more, I would think everyone would be

winkwink:
very good point. It's time some people realized that one small road construction company grosses that in a year. That really helps to put it in perspective.
This dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog!
I predicted the end of IBill on GFY after all the lost rebills... IBill is a sunk ship -- goodbye IBill fucks...
You don't see any new paysites coming out using IBill now -- I see a lot of people using CCBill...
Jettis is rocking.
I still think CCBill has the worst stats interface EVER -- takes me at least 15 minutes to look up my stats -- god knows why I need an account number and a username and a password and about about 5 pages of HTML just to see how many signups I made this month. It's such a pain in the ass I just tell the owner of the program to ICQ me how many signups I made ;)
Intercept provides IBILL with a closer path to the merchant banks, it will allow IBILL to stabilize relationships with Visa/MC that could not be accomplished with them using solely First Data. Intercept could provide significant infusion of capital to allow IBILL to accelerate buildout of their network, increase staffing, and provide better service to their clients. IBILL is also likely to reduce their costs through the economy of scale, particularly the costs they incur in processing as they now will be bundled into a much larger pool. Sort of like how Walmart crushes the competition.
The biggest plus that I see to this is the fact that I will now be able to, in a limited fashion, look inside of IBILL's books and see the health of the company that handles our monies. If things are going badly, at least I now have SEC disclosures that I can look to for some insight and not rely on rumors taken from webmaster BBS's.
If I were a fly on the wall inside of IBILL's competition, I would not be surprised if they were not a little envious of this turn of events.

I like it myself...I can have the same user name for all my parternships...And it's a little programing trick...to be able to do this...
I think what ccbill does is associate the webmaster, to the partner,to the user name, which is kind of hard to do for most programers but
NO hill for a good 1.. Or maybe I should say it use to be hard to do...Now I knows no more's, I have not kept up with that shit for awhile..
