Well Paycounter advertises 5c a click all over website. I don't think it really is an official contract when you signup. I guess it is technically not fraud but fraudulent advertising.
I just don't like people giving the adult business a bad name. So many dishonest people.Comment

I've never gotten a check from them. Oh well, last time I checked, there was no way to even check your accumlated total. "Freecounter.com" would be a much more suitable name for them. "Paycounter.com" makes it seem like they pay you.Comment

Never got a nickel. Of course, I didn't know trafficjuicer was affliated with them when I first tried it, sent about 20k hits to the tune of 26 cents, which I made 800 with the same amount redirecting foreigns to moneytree.Comment

If your firewall blocks cookies and you're unwilling to create a rule in your firewall allowing the stats interface to set a cookie, then unfortunately you can't login to the stats interface, period.Originally posted by bjjb

RE: Password retrieval. I've just confirmed that it works. I even did a test password refresh to an old hotmail account I have. It's working, trust me.

Wrong only thing that has changed in a year or so since I built this machine is that your site does NOT work. My cookie settings and firewall settings havent changed and your site is the only one I have a RECURRING problem with. Also got the pw retrieval email and its got the same info in it ive been trying to use for several months with NO success. Just admit it. I use them, I dont get payed, I dont know how much they owe me because you cant see the total, and I dont give a shit because it's my favorite counter. But getting payed would be nice.

It's ALWAYS caused by personal firewalls that block cookies without the users knowledge.
If you don't believe me then don't use PayCounter. I think we've beaten this horse to death.
I can login with your account info from multiple machines, from multiple browsers. Don't believe me? Try it yourself from a computer without a software firewall on it. Ask one of your buddies to try it for you. Go to Kinkos and test it.
Or, just find a new counter. I'm heading to bed. night.

Try to set a cookie then see if your browser sends it.
If you can't see the cookie after you've set it then something on YOUR machine is preventing that cookie from either being set, or from being sent to the server.

i used to use them back in 2001/2002 and never really checked the stats on them so not sure if i was ever owed money by them but i know i never got a check from them.
