AC brought a lot of us wm's together in the olden days... Quite a few of us from the UK made it to Vegas in 2001 for both shows as biz was good and the $:£ exchange rate made it viable.. From those two shows, I'm in contact more often now with pals I made from the States and Canada than I am with the guys from here !!! Also going to the shows was handy to put names to faces like you, JFK and so many other wm's who's names I knew just from the old AC forum and TLA's plus of course meeting CA Dave, AV Tim and other avs owners and staff. My favourite memory is going on to CCBill's stand and screaming at Joel and Jeff as my checks hadn't arrived and Joel was meant to bring a replacement to the show and forgot.. From that I'm glad to say I got to like CCBill a lot for putting up with a dwarf from the UK acting like a madman.. They've been there ever since.. so thanks CCBill ;)

I know what u mean JFK, but even tho I've only been in the industry for a year, I've managed to become pretty good friends with a lot of people! The key to building those relationships is going to the shows and constant following up! It kinda helps that there are a ton of us here in the Toronto area!
