Hand washing !!!

When you enter a public restroom and have to touch the nasty slimy door knob, do you wash your hand before taking a piss?

Also, after you have washed your hands, do you use paper to open the door knowing that some nasty mother fucker probably took a dump, wiped his ass and touched the door knob without washing his hands...

I'm almost obsessive compulsive when it comes to public restrooms.. if they have paper towels, then yeah, I use one to open the door as I leave. I freaking hate it when they only have the stupid fucking air dryers, and will only use those restrooms in extreme emergencies.

They say the only way to get out of the public restroom without getting germs is to get your paper towel first, turn on the sink, get the soap, SCRUB your hands, dry them, turn the water off with the towel, open the door handle with the paper towel then throw it out.

it really makes no sense to wash your hands after using the public restroom because you have to turn off the sink knob and touch the door knob to leave again.

how would you know if they dont have paper towels until its to late and you're already in the bathroom?

im a cook at a resturant 2 days a week and since i started 2 yrs ago, i have become a FREAK about washing my hands and hygene all together!!! the tapes they make you watch are fuckin gross!

I'm very careful in public restrooms. Always wash my hands and now when I see someone who doesn't I say something to them. Most times they give me the fuck you look back though.

Those signs are there to make the customers feel safer. 9 times out of 10, the employees use their own back of the house bathroom. It's this same mentality that caused it to be law for food production employees to wear vinyl/latex gloves, even though health inspectors are rightfully against it.

Last time at TGIF, I see that waiter dude coming out of the john's and heading straight for the door. I follow him and see him going straight to clear plates and glasses from a table full of people. Now I know he just took a dump, cuz it kinda smelled bad

I generally push the door open with my elbow or sholder, then I take a piss or dump, wash/dry my hands, then I use a paper towel or toilet paper to open the door back up..

Never know whats on them doors.. Hepatitis can live on a door for a year if it's not properly cleaned...

Yeah, I am a freak when it comes to washing my hands. The first thing I do when I get up is wash my hands, then take a shower, then wash them again before I go out the door. I wash them before I eat, when I get home, before I do anything really. Not washing your hands regularly is gross.
