What a coincidence it was today that I was reading that a computer can start a fire and then a few hours later on my old computer, the 15" daytek monitor starts smoking. I was walking around the house when something stunk, and then I relized it was coming from the computer monitor. Nothing bad happened, just house stinks a bit. And I need a new monitor. It was a Daytek monitor that was built back in 1997. I though It would last longer.

i have a history of owning computers that just stop working.
