A friend's kid takes the prize for local dumbest criminal I've ever heard of. He was messed up on whatever he was doing and went into a small family owned convenience store. He asked for cigarettes and the clerk asked him to show I.D. Then while she was getting the cigarettes he grabbed the cash register and ran out the store... leaving his drivers license on the counter.
