    Is the whole United States in general fucking LAWSUIT HUNGRY?

    Hey listen I understand if you got hit by a car and like get paralyzed or something for life then by all means a lawsuit is justified or anything that dramatic........

    But every little thing people seem to get hungry for a lawsuit and easy money. Fuck about a yr a so ago i got a little love bump in a parking lot by like a 70 yr old lady. My back door got a dent in it and all. I didnt give a shit cause that is the car I use for PO drops and daily beating on for my book business. I could have easily collected like 1k or so but it was a old lady and shit. I didnt even collect the ladies info I just told her dont worry about. No body got hurt and it was a minimal dent in car that i abuse anyways.

    What i am trying to say her is that I feel evryone is looking for a way to sue someone in dreams of getting that easy money and shit. Makes us as a society look nothing but greedy fucks....

                      I am very cool minded person, but once in awhile when i get pissed its not pretty. I have been known to lose my temper at my attorneys in the past to the point of me saying "You piece of shit are you working for me or are you working for the other side"?

                      I dropped a old lawyer and my new snake one threatened to take my old one to the NYS BAr and stuff cause of shady practices. I got majority of my money back in liue of the threats my new snake made to my old snake. I really hate lawyers

                                                  Guy i know was in a accident and one of his fingers got chopped off. He got like 3 mil for that. But the driver was high on drugs and came from a well to do family. If i had to live with a missing limb the rest of my life your adamb right i would sue.

                                                              It's the lure of easy money.

                                                              A few years ago, I was following my sister out the parking lot at her work. She had my niece and my daughter in her car. Some bitch pulled into the parking lot and then immediately tried to do a u-turn, but my sister was in the way. The police ticketed the other driver, because it was pretty clear it was her fault.

                                                              After a few weeks of trying to get her insurance to pay, we were informed that the lady was suing my sister... We went to court and because I was the only witness of the accident, they said my testimony didn't mean shit and they told both parties to pay for their own vehicles.

                                                              When judges make ridiculous rulings like that, people are going to get sue happy in hopes of getting off or getting paid.

                                                                                          From my experience most attorneys want to complicate things as much as possible in deals so one they are needed and two so that friction over details is created so they canjustify their billing time.

                                                                                          I've got one deal right now where a guy's attorney has successfully delayed and stalled things for 2 months so far. His tactics have probably cost this fellow at least an extra $10K in totally unnecessary costs because of contractural wording.

                                                                                          Even when I did the big domain buy, the lawyers nearly blew the entire deal and it took every ounce of negotiating skill I have to keep the peace between everyone as we were at the fuck you then stages several times over ridiculous clauses that each side's lawyers were insisting to have in the purchase agreement.

                                                                                          Problem with this country is people can sue for anything and they do. I've been lucky and have sued more people than have sued me and overall when I added up the numbers I'm still on the plus side. I'm in healthcare also. That is a constant one you have to keep close tabs on for potential lawsuits since lawyers can clobber you big time if anything fucks up.

                                                                                          What they really need to do is put reasonable caps on lawsuits judgment amounts. This would be the best way to control the system. The way it is now people can win ridiculous amounts of money way past what their true honest losses or sufferings were.

                                                                                                              The US just has way to many lawyers and the majority of them are useless (learned the hard way) so they become bloodsuckers. It used to be that amublance chasers was the lowest form of life there was. Now they run for president and congress and make laws that do nothing but fatten their wallets. Like class action lawsuits, lawyer gets millions the class get .25 if they are lucky.

Net result: tons of lawsuits. Also in the US, litigation cannot be taken on CONTINGENCY (ie., lawyer sues, if he doesn't win, Client doesn't have to pay). Net result: Tons of frivolous suits.

                                                                                                                                                                                      In England, they have the "Loser Pays" and No Contingency rule. So there's less lawsuits. Plus, there's two types of lawyers--Solicitors and Barristers. So it takes longer from complaint to actual trial work. In the US, any lawyer can walk into a courtroom and get a trial date.

                                                                                                                                                                                          I have a huge lawsuit in the works right now over my hit n run accident last august that put me in a wheelchair for a couple months, without the use of my left leg for 5 months total, a steel plate in my leg, months of extremely painful physical therapy, and left me with a permanant disabling injury. I can walk now but still cant do alot of things that I used to.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Its the first time I've ever had to sue someone, or corporation in this case, and i hope its the last time.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  Some of the Lawsuits in the US are absolutely rediculous, but it's their own fault. If it was up to me and some dickhead spilt his coffee and was trying to sue someone, I would give him a serviette and tell him to go home. By keeping this shit going on and people get such huge compensation pay outs, it only encourages more people to do it.
