    Who owns a Black Berry?

Thinking about buying one in the near future.

I know you can get email, browse the net, plus many other things, but is there a way to hook up ICQ to it?

    Thanks for your help.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Bummer. That makes no sense, though. You can IM on those things, so why not ICQ?

I have the TMobile sidekick which is an alternative to the BlackBerry. It has AOL instant messenger which IS operable with ICQ since AOL owns them both. You add ICQ numbers to your buddy list and then you can communicate with them. It has full featured email and web browsing(not WAP)

The thing you need to check out is the GSM/GPRS signal in your area. I don't travel much and T-Mobiles coverage is good where I work and live(Dalls/FW). If you travel a lot to different cities, it may not be so hot.

I use mine every day and it is anything but a paperweight for me.
The monthly cost for UNLIMITED data is $30. I don't use the phone at all.

It's an option worth considering. You can return it after a 14 day trial for a full refund if it does not meet your needs.

Yeah, I'm looking at smartphones as an alternative.

Ideal would be to use it as a cell phone as well. Verizon is my service.
