The new Jim Carrey movie is off the fucking hook. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind stars Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Elijah Wood and Kirsten Dunst and was written by Charlie Kaufman who wrote Being John Malkovich and Adaptation. It's so fucking amazing. Imaging taking the best parts of a dream, the most deranged parts of a Foo Fighters video, wrap it up into a joint smoke it and view it through the eyes of an 8 year old child with an active imagination and that's this movie. Kaufman creates a journey that doesn't stop until the very end. Jim Carrey makes a perfectly shaped character, that's funny, akward and human. Not only has he matured as an actor but has proven he can be a lead actor in a serious film that needs a veteran. Kate Winslet is annoying, but that's how her character is written. You end up caring about her and about her character, Kaufman walks the thin line and Winslet portrays it perfectly. The Sniper fucking approves.
