I'm getting around 150-200 spam/virus mails a day. But now I have a new eMail-address and I'm not using it for everything...it's way better know. But still I get 1-2 a day.

its odd... i get only a few @yahoo sends, but my email is @yahoo.com so i guess yahoo is doing a filter on the accounts that dont exsist... but i still do get alot from like .edu and shit

Take your email off your website and they should go away... or at least, you should get less of them. After taking my address of my site, I went from getting 50+/day to 5-6/week.

I'm getting about 50 Plus per day.

There is some serious virus coding going on out ther. McAfee has been doing updates sometimes twice per day now. It used to be only once a week.

Scary to put it mildly since we are all so dependent on the Net and e-mail now.

If you use outlook express just make a new rule that deletes any e-mails with attachments.. I was getting about 150 a day and that has put a pretty big stop to them..

I thought about that, but I get too many important emails with attachments.

Perhaps just filter out .exe, .pif and .scr

i just select all my inbox messages and then delete. about 99% of attachments are viruses. 2 email accounts ive lost due to spam

There's a really clever one I saw, pretending to be from Yahoo and informing me that my account had been sending viruses!! It prompted me to download the attachment to fix the problem.

As always the grammer and spelling was dodgy so it was clearly fake. I bet a lot of people downloaded it though
