Yep exactly. How many guys waste money on hair pieces? A nice hair piece is $2000. Then you got monthly removals, cleaning and trimming. $50 a month. Plus all the supplies you need at home, special shampoos, tapes etc about $100 a month. Plus they are nasty and you have to change the tape everyday or they get really nasty. There will be little if no hair in two months, most of the hairs that were transplanted will fall out in the next 2 weeks. The follicles go into a dormant stage for 30 to 90 days. I think it's one of the coolest things ever that this procedure was figured out..
For those of you that don't know, the hair that was taken from the back of Choker's head isn't genetically predispositioned for 'falling out'. That's why these hairs will grow successfully in the front of his head, even after dormancy.

Demodex mites. There is more oil (food to them) on the TOP of your head due to gravity and the fact that most people spend a good 16 hours a day upright.... so they tend to hang where the food is.
Eventually they kill your follicle from iritation and their waste products.
Young people have stronger immune systems that better deal with all the bugs we have on us. This is why you'll see old people with more fungal and bacterial infections on their skin.
Here's three jammed into a single hair follicle.
Soo Choker.. you might investigate this and look into some shampoo that claims to control demodex to protect your new hair. Btw... from what I read on the web, you can go to some dermatologists and they'll scope your scalp and you can check out how "infested" you are with these things.Comment

THEY have been hailed as the answer to cancer and a fix for paralysis.
There seems no end to the hype surrounding stem cells and now scientists even think they could reverse baldness.
It has been suspected for a long time that most types of baldness are caused by disruption to the lifecycle of hair follicle cells.
Normal hair follicle cells, known as "bulge" cells, go through quiet times when they seem to do very little and active spurts when they multiply furiously and make new hairs.
A US team has now shown the bulge cells are in fact a type of stem cell.
In a report in today's edition of the journal Nature Biotechnology the team claims to have found a range of proteins made by the bulge cells which could potentially be coaxed into making hair.
The report also held out hope for people who have gone bald from immune diseases like alopecia, which recently affected paralysed former Superman star Christopher Reeve.
"Our results provide new avenues for increasing our understanding of (skin) stem cell biology and hair follicle growth and disease," the team said.
"The hair follicle stem cell genes could provide targets for the treatment of hair loss and other disorders of the (skin)."
Despite the plethora of dodgy baldness "cures", only two hair loss drugs have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the US and its Australian equivalent the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
One of them, Minoxidil, was thought to affect hair growth by altering chemical flows in cells.
Intriguingly the US team found several genes which altered the same chemical flows in hair stem cells, but the genes were permanently switched on.
They also said their work could shed light on the ageing process; how wounds heal; and how cancer cells wreaked havoc on the body.
