    McDonalds To Start Taking Credit Cards

    McDonald's announced you'll be able to pay for meals using credit and debit cards now at their 13,600 restaurants.

    Pretty lame if you have to charge .99 cents fries.

    Wonder why they did that?

                  They will make soo much more, Taco bell already accepts debit cards. Think about it, you want a burger but dont have cash on ya... dont wanna run o the bank... makes it easy... eventually it will seem odd to pay with cash, you all will see.

                                                                              I went in last week and showed them a bank card and it was a full out code blue emergency ... total panic cause the bitch couldnt use the machine properly ..

                                                                              I ended up telling her to fuck off and went to the bank .

                                                                              I had ordered a Happy meal for my girlfriend at the time , and I sat there and watched the guy just stand like a chump for like 4 minutes as my order just sat there .. so I slapped him in the head and yelled " WAKE THE FUCK UP JAMTART " you shoulda seen this idiot too .. just the look of him is what caused me to do that I think . complete retard

                                                                                                              Yep 99% of the fast food places here have been setup for credit for years. I hardly ever carry cash.

                                                                                                                                      Not sure about McDonald's, but at Wendy's here they take credit cards. My friends use their cards all the time. I find it hilarious, but whatevers convenient I guess. I'll never use it, I'm cash only as far as offline purchases go. But then again, I do buy almost everything online.

                                                                                                                                          i disagree. i used my credit card for everything possible. i dont like carrying as much cash, and i really dont like getting loose change. i dont use it for the credit because i pay it off every month, but its so much easier to use the credit card. not to mention i get 1% cash back in home depot gift certificates.

                                                                                                                                                  Just about every place of business accepts credit cards, and more every day are accepting check cards..so what's the big deal with McDonald's doing it...seriously people need some bigger news in their lives...LOL

                                                                                                                                                          Anyway my point is this...people worry about a 16 year old stealing their credit card information, however they just gladly hand over their card to the waiter at Chilis...let me just break it to you people...he/she is not much older or smarter.

                                                                                                                                                                      my girlfriend lost her purse one night when we went out, and we found out later the person had tried to use her ss to get a bank account in another state and shit, very weird things can and do happen.

                                                                                                                                                                      When i was 20 and got my first "checking account" the bank sent the ard to me in the mail activated and i had my account cleared, sure it was refunded but the damage was done.

                                                                                                                                                                      i dont TRUST ANY ONE I GIVE MY CARD TO.

                                                                                                                                                                      especially high priced hollywood bartendars too, ivwe had bartendars run 200$ on my card in a night and i only had a 70$ tab! only found out the next day though, good thing i didnt sign it.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  i agree, i dont really trust anyone with anything.... but giving them your credit card the worst thing they can do is charge something up and as long as you check your statements (this can be done online) then if you see something you didnt charge you can do a chargeback. you're pretty much taking the same risk using cash with the risk of them short changing you.
