It usually ends up costing more to outsource when you figure you save maybe 40% to get something done, then lose money when it under performs by say 80% due to any number of things. Then you have to pay to get it re done by a professional. So add up the cost of the 2 jobs and the money lost while you tried the first version.

Get it done right the first time and be satisfied.
