What works for me (or what used to anyway; I haven't given a presentation in a long time) is to remember that everybody in the audience is human. They all get nervous... just like you. They all make mistakes... just like you. And they are all capable of understanding that you are neverous as hell and are bound to make a mistake or two. Relax!See what's new at

Do what I do.
Give the speech, wait for the next guy to come up, then hold up a sign that says,
"BUY MY CONTENT"
It's so compelling that people actually do buy my content, as well as completely ignore the next person in line while they ponder buying even more of my content.

Be sure you memorized the lines before
you go in front of them. Bring some outlined reports
in your hand so that when you're lost for words, you can
easily take a quick peek in your notes and get back on
track. Look them straight in the eye so they'll know
that you are talking to them, not the wall behind them.
And last but not the least, just relax.
