I have a mainstream business that's taking off pretty fast, so I figure I'll check out some rock solid mainstream hosts for comparison with adult hosts.

That "Option Two" is $300 for setup + $500 a month
It comes with a piddly little 100GB, and each additional GB will cost $2 (pre-paid) or $3.50 (for unplanned overage).
So basically, if I have a server with them doing about 10mb/sec (about 3000~3200gb/month), it will cost $6300~$6700/month.
I also learned that they don't setup any email addresses or MySQL databases for you. You have to do it all yourself.
Rackspace might have "fanatical service", but I can get pretty much the same thing for $800/month (or less) from adult hosts, a difference of at least $66,000+ a year.
Wow.
