Disturbing Thought about Taylor Summers Case

When I have done B&D shoots, it was with the models *paraphernalia* that she brought and took away with her.

    I have some worries here.

What if I do a B&D shoot with a girl, and she leaves with her stuff, goes to a different guy, who also photgraphs her, kills her, and dumps her in a backdrop. Serious circumstantial evidence against me....

Just another reason to leave BDSM to the BDSM crowd IMO.

I *am* in the BDSM crowd....

But those in the scene are much more careful than Taylor seems to have been.

Sticking to working with models in the scene is a pretty good idea.

Well, I'm not real up on B&D, but I can tell you that almost nothing goes anywhere without picking up something from where it has been.

So, if she leaves your place and then goes to someone else chances are her paraphenalia would pick up some trace elements from her second shoot...a piece of fiber, skin cells etc. that could help to prove she was somewhere else. Of course, not all investigations are perfect and you always run that chance...but this sort of thing does not happen all the time. You have a better chance of getting hit by a car than for this to happen.

If you are the paranoid type, put in their contract that they have to call you 10 minutes after leaving your location and leave a message on your answering machine stating the date and time and the fact that they did leave the shoot at such and such a time and what location (or direction) they are headed in.

            Wow.......good advice.

Good point you bring Paul...make sure you're covered everyway you can.

Didn't they mention in the first news release that she was also to meet with a new boyfriend? Whatever happened to that, or was it something this photographer told the cops or reporter?

this has got NOTHING to do with the BDSM crowd

what u think that "straights" cant be killers too?

It doesnt matter what you shoot - Paul has a good point.

You could be filiming a schholgirl lesbian scene for all it matters - and the next guys she shoots with might be gonna do a bikini shoot with her - and she gets killed

niche plays no role in murder

maybe you can INSIST they have a friend escort them
(yea h i know thats a tricky one - a lot o girls want to keep their work secret)
wyldblyss has some good points about DNA/fibres though

maybe form your end - dont work alone
                    always have another "staff" there
at least you have an alibi

That's possible, but you can say the truth and it will come out soon enough. That just can't be the basis of your arrest or something, you'll be called in for questioning though.

dude, building your alibi here won't help you.

                                Two ways to be safe.

Best way is always have your model bring a chaperone, that way you have a witness.

Anotherway is to set up video camera on a tripod in the corner where it can see everything. Record the whole shoot with time stamp turned on. That way you have an independent record of what happened.
