I have over 100 of them... Its become a hobby I think... I will probably unload some in the near future.

i have hard time stopping too. once i register one domain, i keep looking for "something better" and then i think i find one then i HAVE to register it lol

Lots of people have the domain bug. It'll all payoff for you if you are buying selectively, even if you don't have the time and resources to develop them now.

One day people will look back at today's domain values and kick themselves in the butt for not investing as much as they can in them.

This is the greatest "real estate" opportunity we'll ever have in our lifetimes.

i think if you have one or two word phrase domain names they will be worth something in a couple years. shit, they are worth something today.

do you think ICANN will stop adding top level domain names anytime soon? it looks like they are making top level domain names for ever kind of topic imaginable.

What kind of type-in traffic do you get? And which domain gets the most?

I think you are referring to the 90's, when you could either register or buy cheap all the great type in names.

IMO today there's no more market for making money in newly registered names, unless:

- you buy them for $8 and sell for $25
- you buy them for $8, make a complete busines plan for them and sell them for $50k as Taboo apparently does :-)
- you buy names connected with the most recent events, innovations etc, but this requires you to stay on top of things that happen across the world in different industries

that's pretty good...you more than make up for the cost at the end of each year.....i might go with adding my domain names to sedo also.

Taboo is an idiot in every sense of the word. He's the only person I know that purposely creates competition for himself. He is now paying at least 25% more for every domain he acquires through auction, soley because of the competition he has created through his threads. I've tried to make him realize he is an idiot, but like most idiots, he wouldnt hear it.

I dont know if he is "slow" or mildly retarded, but he seems to have confused this webmaster message board with a domain name discussion message board. Now he copies and pastes links to all his threads in every thread related to domains, and has gone on a massive spam campaign bumping his own threads every single day.

Nice made up figure, to suggest that his threads have had a significant impact on domain speculation and overall auction totals is moronic. The benefit he has received in deals and domains sold because of his gfy threads, far outweighs any increased competition he has created. He has taken his time to education and inform, you sould like a selfish little kid who doesn't want to share.
