Running a TGP/MGP is a full time business.
These big players sit around all day long watching their trades. I've had the opportunity to work next to some big TGP guys, if you have a lot of traffic, and ignore, people catch on, they will figure out how to drain your site.
You really have to know what you are doing and understand traffic strategy. If you leave your site alone, expect it to go down.
