I helped the police by sending them to OMP and other model boards where she probably booked the job because OMP keeps records of all back & forth e-mails & solicitations. When I contacted the OMP owner (who I know personally) they knew nothing about the case. I don't know if that specific information helped them in the case, but, at the time nobody knew who she was supposedly meeting for dinner and I thought that might help. Maybe it did, I don't know, but she was a cool chick from the many times that I talked to her on the phone trying to work out her booking for Adult.com and I wanted to help in any way I could.

I am, BTW - all for models bringing someone with them to thier shoot, as long as he/she doesn't watch and pays his own way. And, I am NOT an agent, but a scout for my productions, and my small management company - which usually only represents talent for a short time - then refers them to other agents for a fee. I stand behind all of my clients 100% and guarentee the models safety, their payment, and the legitimacy of the producer/photographer/company. I don't need tons of new clients because I work in the Mecca of Adult modeling - LA and have over 300 producers that I send talent to. Many hiring each model 10, 20, 50 or hundreds of times.

We also don't do bondage unless it is for super experienced people like Ken Marcus or Taboo Magazine - no offense to those fetish shooters I don't know yet - you just havent been personally refered to me. Too many weirdos in that biz.

This is a huge blow to the adult industry and someone will be the scapegoat I'm sure. But more importantly - it is traumatic to Taylor's family & friends - let's take a moment to honor thier pain & suffering.

I met this model a few months ago in the office of another photographer in L.A. She was down from Canada with her boyfriend. I declined shooting her. They were both super nice people. I feel very saddened by this.


I must say that for the past several years Ive been telling models I work with the DANGER SIGNS of working with certain people. I do not know how she met this supposed photographer - but these days......its more and more prevelant that models meet photographers online.

I believe its time for EVERYBODY to wise up about SAFETY and the steps everyone can take to avoid bad situations including first and foremost: REFERENCES & MORE REFERENCES.
Also taking along an escort, asking all the right questions, and emails - phone calls to establish CREDIBILITY.

Really sad.

very sad. shooting with some unknown photographer in some small town is risky - somebody should have stopped her but with models or any young girl they are going to do what they are going to do.

i'm friends with both AMA and POV. POV does trot the girls around so it's a lot less likely that a creep like this killer would have done what he did if he knew there was a male coming to pick her up from the shoot. Or he'd kill the driver as well.

I hope OMP gives these girls some good safety guidelines - OMP is just crawling with creeps.
