I don't understand jumpers and train track suiciders.

Every week down here you read about someone laying down on the train tracks waiting to get run over by one of the high speed Amtrak trains. Thats so gruesome.

I guess they're just fucked up in the head.

That did happen many years ago! a guy jumped and the winds blew him back though a window on a lower floor! he survived!

NEW YORK - A man jumped to his death Friday from the 86th-floor observation deck at the Empire State Building, one of Manhattan's busiest tourist destinations, police said. The apparent suicide forced police to briefly close the landmark on Fifth Avenue to tourists in New York for the holiday weekend.

The man apparently climbed over a security fence that encloses the observation deck before leaping off. He hit a landing on the sixth floor, where he died instantly, police said.

No identification was found on his body.

I think this method is slightly better than some nutter driving flat out down some highway intent on killing himself and taking as many others with him as he possibly can - See this every day in Poland - Only the intent is purely accidental...

at a highschool graduation party some drunk bum got hit by a train...guys were out grabbing arms and legs and piling them together until the poilce came...gross

I feel bad for the guys operating the trains, although it's suicide.. I'm sure it'll haunt them that they killed someone.
