Yeah, having an IRC channel doesnt neccesarily mean you'd have loss of views on the ads.

You can run a eggdrop bot which advertises the banner sponsors every couple of minutes, and have on-join messages, etc etc..

I think it would be a very good addition to GFY, and it wouldnt retract from the board posting either. Its just 2 differant wants of communicating, and with the live chat, not really interfering with board drama.

I'll even sponsor an IRC server, so that we dont have to use public ones we dont have control over.
