A Vette or Viper? Depends on what your needs are. If your looking for all out speed, go for the Viper. Everyone I've ever known who has had a Viper bitches that the car is not a daily driver. The newer Vettes are sexy as hell.

I am biased because I own a Vette but after driving both my Z06 and an 02 Viper the viper just wasn't comfortable. I can't even imagine driving it on very long trips. (I am sure some viper owners will disagree but they are biased as well).
If you want to have a head turner the Viper wins. More power out of the box as well. But your paying for it without a doubt.
The Corvette on the other hand is comfortable as hell (provided you are not to tall) its like sitting in a recliner while driving. Travels long distances well and still looks good without breaking the bank.
As far as power.. I super charged my Z06 amongst several other upgrades. I have no fear of a Viper on the road (unless hes highly modified) and I still paid a fuck of a lot less.Living in Virtual Reality

Yea they can put up great numbers. One of the easiest cars to squeeze a ton of HP from. Unfortunately a lot of them running at the higher numbers aren't going to last long on the streets because they were built to be dyno queens. I could hit 800+RWHP by swapping to a smaller pulley and driving the boost through the roof. The engine wouldnt last though. Its all about drivability, longevity and then then lastly the power. I am taking my time. Good tuners know that.Living in Virtual Reality

Yeah, I hear what your saying. My car has the AEM EMS, 1000 cc injectors, T78 turbo, etc etc etc. The car has been running right for well over a year now and the tune is just about perfect. The car isn't blowing up anytime soon. Only an idiot would run the ragged edge on pump gas without a proper tune. My car was actually built to run on a race track and you can see that by going to www.otcsupra.com
However, my S2000 is more of the race track kinda car, and my Supra might just end up doing drag duty. I would really like to hit 1000 rwhp, but I need a turbo upgrade for that. I can probably do around 800 rwhp on my T78.https://3-veo.com/

No way, I constantly get questions on what kinda car it is, and alot of the Vette owners around here always gawk at my car. In White Rock we have a long beach strip where everyone cruises in the spring and summer. When I park to go into the Boathouse restaurant people have formed small crowds around to check it out.
