    TV commercial compression

    when a TV program breaks for commercials - the volume goes waaaayyy loud.

    they get away with this because while the decibels are the same - the sound is more compressed and sounds much louder

    im sure they do it coz they know ppl walk out of the room during ads.

    annoys the shit outta me



    do they have that elsewhere or is it just Aus?

              It's done so that you pay more attention to them, which in itself is a pain in the fucking ass.
              SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                  They do it here too; Cananda. I don't mind commercials they gotting make their money and since commerials are some of my income n uff said.
