I am writing a paper for somebody about that right now, and it is a great threat. And it doesn't looks like anybody will find a solution in the near future
global warming IS happening fast
dunno what it's like in other parts of the world but here it is REALLY bad.
everyone where i live says they cnt go out in the midday sun in summer
this last summer - all the farmers got fucked over coz usually fruit season goes form nov-april even may.
this year they finished at march coz all the fruit was "fried" on the trees before they had a chance to pick it off.
People tend to think their food gets on the shelf out of thin air and forget they are dependent on all parts of the country and globe for that food to be produced.
Yep climate change is happening all over!! Everyone more or less has witness climate change!! look at all the freak storms that have hit certain countires!!
Fuck last year here in Scotland we had some of the warmest weather we have ever recorded!!
the hole in the ozone layer is right over where we live.
in other parts of australia its not so bad.
I lived up north (and rememeber here north is hotter than south)
wore bikinis every day for years - no sunburn
came back south where its spose to be colder
wearing tshirts - one month later i have what may well be a skin cancer on my shoulder
it's not temperature hot here
but the UV is insane
It wasn't long ago that this was the #1 issue on everyone's agenda, ofcourse, until it took a severe bashing from sceptics and non interested politicians. Kyoto Protocol

Yeah, this winter in Hawaii has been fucking horrible weather wise so far. It is normal to have more rain in the winter than the other months, but lately it's been raining and cloudy and cold everyday. Combine that with that article and it adds up to some scary shit.
I think it's the opposite of global warming. Look up some of the stuff about Antarctica. A little as 500 years ago, there are maps that were drawn by seefaring people that show Antarctica with a coastline. Today's technology can 'see through' the ice and the actual coastline looks exactly like 500 year old maps. What does this mean? It means that most of the ice on the souther pole is relatively new and implies an impending ice age.

Yes, because the climate is so predictable and never flucates. In fact there has never been an ice age on earth. Oh, wait I took too many magic mushrooms this morning nevermind me.
how do you change something that is part of the earth's natural cycle? It's a proven fact there has been Ice Ages in the past, it will happen again. Nothing you or I can do about it, other than deal with it.
Evlotion at it's finest
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

Not true, if we stop living the way we have for years. And go back to the stoneage we can prevent it. Err wait, thats the magic mushrooms speaking again.
