California is a great place to visit and take pictures. But I'd never live there. Far too expensive. The state sales tax is like 10% or some crazy number. I forget what it was when I was in Hollywood last, but it was alot.
Now Canada on the other hand... I am considering moving there. I have had about all I can take of this country and its sky-high taxes and stupid people. I heard that you can get a 300 acre plot up there for around $20K USD.
#2) The income taxes are lower in the US.
#3) Don't start a sentence with "I heard"
- "Canada" has its expensive and cheap areas... Just like the US.

For those of you who do not live in California, I'm sure you have a certain pre-conceived notion of what California is like. Hollywood would like to have you believe all of California is like LA. That is not true at all.
There is no place I'd rather live than Northern California. We have beautiful mountains, waterfalls, incredible lakes... I could go on and on about the beauty of Northern Cal.
And the beaches up here are nothing like what you see on the movies.

I know what you're saying. I have a few extra pounds on me. That hike is hell!
And the guys do gawk like CRAZY. I took a couple models down there and had one greasy looking white trash guy following us around with his digital cam, trying to sneak pics whenever he could.Comment
