Alot of places do treat Mexican Nationals with little pay and the bottom jobs, that is true. But, here where I live, the Mexicans get paid really good for cunstruction. There is a need for qualified people and the Mexicans want and are able to do the jobs. The locals aren't willing to work outside in the cold winters, so the Mexican's do.
We have made friends with some of them. They tell us that they leave their families for 1-3 years, work hard, save up enough money to buy a business back home and then never come here again.
What happened in Mexico City was sad, but that kind of thing happens all around the world and even in the US, maybe not to that extent, but remember what happened after the Rodney King verdict.....
