About the camcorder and digital camera, it also depends on the budget you have for it, get a
Sony DCR-SR100 3MP 30GB Hard Drive Handycam Camcorder
if you plan to save the work directly on a 30 GB hard disk drive (quality of 2 MP video and 3 MP pics), or the same but on mini-DVDs:
Sony DCR-DVD405 3MP DVD Handycam Camcorder
or
Sony HDR-HC3 4MP High-Definition Handycam MiniDV Camcorder with 4 MP digital pics and miniDV, easier for editing ...
So, all of them can also take digital pictures either on the HDD or miniDV or miniDVD, or even better in the case of 405, on an additional memory stick ...

You can also shop there for more expensive with more quality, if you want to spend more money ...
