I had the first asthma or allergy attack of my life last night. I'd been doing alot of yard work.
I laid down to go to bed and my lungs felt like they were full of fluid...I had a heavy weight on my chest and I couldn't breathe. My whole face and left arm went numb.
Kinda scared me...its noever happened before, and I have no known allergies. So either I'm developing them or I had a heart attack at 27.
Do you have a Vaporizor in your house???
If not you should, I have allergies and it
really helps me ALOT!! My allergies have
to do with the air pressure and it really
sucks, along with dust and all that other
stuff! I really hope you try this, if you haven't
already!! I think it would help you alot!!!

I have several humidifiers. After a couple of miserable days I got the largest one (meant for 2400 sq feet) and a small one going in my bedroom. Brought the humidty to about 60% so that at least I didn't wake up with a raw throat. It's supposed to rain on Wednesday which will help some.
I tried Allegra and Claritin a few years back. Zyrtec was the one that made the most difference. It seems this year the tree pollen around here is worse than normal. My dad swears by chlortrimetron which is over the counter, but it didn't stop the symptoms just dried my throat up really bad.

If it isn't allergy I would say it was a panic attack. Panic attacks are characterized by coldness and pressure in the chest, as well as imagined difficulty with breathing. Allergy makes sense though. You should tell your doctor.
The cottonwoods are the killer tree's for me. I have several around my home and with all that cotton blowing around...the only thing that'll help my allergies is a MedrolPack. I'm feeling for ya...this time a year is a bitch for those with allergies.
damn, i wonder if the human race is devolving, i'm sure we would have been tough enough to resist attacks by trees at some point in our evolution :-)
I get the same, usually only in spring though... maybe once every 2yrs. warm shower and humidifier with some eucalyptus or similar seems to help me if it's bad.

you had a heart attack !
I know what I am talking about I've had plenty of heart attacks and a 4 way bypass.
Remember, usually if you can SEE the pollen, that's NOT what is getting into your nose. It's the tiny particles you can't see that are causing problems.
The center that gives Atlanta the information needs to change its chart. 500 or something is the highest it goes in terms of severity and we've had 4K+ days before, lol!
