Your post is a public call for support.

In the spirit of free relevant comment, just as you are contesting the results of the recent election as being unbalanced, I am making the same claim about the overall picture as it relates to the election results.

Supporting 'freedom' blindly and without ownership of related issues might be 'common' sense, but it is not sensible.

It is part of the problem - which is my point.

It seems like you may know (as do I), that the history of the Ukrainian people is tragic. They have sought national independence (with endless failure) for almost all of their existence as a culture. If you think that African Americans know the blues, just pull out any traditional Ukrainian folk song and grab a hanky.

I don't believe these things happen by accident, and I no longer subscribe to the 'poor persecuted victim' mentality I was raised on. If the people of Ukraine want the support of the globe, they need to grow up as a nation - and it starts with discussions like these.

When it comes to important international affairs, as certain countries gain attention through issues like this, it is prudent to address all important matters.

However, in the spirit of your post, again,

Yes, I think we all need to support the quest for achieving an honest democratic election in the Ukraine and all countries of the world.
