Been using skype for about a fortnight, the cool thing about it is you can call normal phones for a small fee, all over the world. It's pretty cool...

              Hi,

We have been using www.packet8.net for about 2 years now.

At home and both of our offices.

$20.00 per month, unlimited LD to usa / canada.

Well worth it, and all you need it dsl / cable / high speed.

Packet8 is the only one that has a local number for me, but doesn't have 9-11 yet. Still might get it.

I thought E911 was good everywhere? hmm mabey not.

We don't use voip as the primary line for any of our places, but in our large warehouse we have 2 main Pots lines and 5 voip lines, works out great..

In our cybercafe / computer store we have 1 packet 8 line for customers to use. No charge, they can call and speak to people around the usa for free

Not with VoiP. They have to re-route the call or something. Packet 8 has it available in 30 states.
