I'm honestly starting to think it's easier to just lie and say you're bringing back WAY under the amount.
Coming back from Miami, I had bought 2 cartons of smokes-1 for a buddy.
Like an ass I claimed them both. Obviously I didn't realize how much I'd have to pay or I would have told my buddy to screw off.
Thankfully, they took my word that I only had 2 cartons, because when I got home, one of the cartons I had bought was actually a DOUBLE carton. So I had brought back 3...honestly by mistake.
If they had searched the damn bag, I can't even imagine the hassle.
